Install the app, open it, done
ChatPilot is an app for your Mac, Windows PC or Linux computer, or we run it for you and you use it in the browser. No Terminal and no commands: the first start and everything after it happen inside the app.
ChatPilot is in a private beta. The installers come with the first release; until then, beta testers get a download link from us. Join the beta.
ChatPilot for Mac
A .dmg: open it, drag ChatPilot into Applications and open it from there. macOS 14 or newer, Apple Silicon. Everything works, including iMessage and SMS.
The first time, your Mac may say it can’t check the app: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, press Open Anyway next to ChatPilot and open it again.
ChatPilot for Windows
An installer for Windows 10 or 11. It installs for your own user only, so it doesn't ask for an administrator. Everything except iMessage and SMS.
ChatPilot for Linux
An AppImage (one file that runs anywhere and updates itself) or a .deb for Debian and Ubuntu, 64-bit. Your logins go into the desktop keyring. Everything except iMessage and SMS.
Run ChatPilot for me
Nothing to install: we run your ChatPilot on our servers and you open it in the browser, signed in with your ChatPilot account. It uses an AI through an API key (your Claude subscription only works on your own computer), and iMessage and SMS need a Mac of your own. During the beta this is not open to every account yet.
The first start, inside the app
Open ChatPilot
It asks for your control bot, your own Telegram bot that brings alerts and drafts to your phone, and starts.
Follow the checklist
A setup checklist walks you through choosing the AI, connecting your apps and switching your first chats on.
Let it run
It keeps running in the background and starts again when you log in; the icon in the menu bar or next to the clock opens it. New versions install themselves, or you press Update now under Settings → This app → Updates.
