ChatPilot
Auto-answer and safety

Rules and away mode

"When something comes in, do something": away messages, pings, tasks, drafts, auto-answer and more, from Automation → Rules & auto-answer.

Automation → Rules & auto-answer holds what ChatPilot does by itself when a message comes in. The top of the page shows how many messages auto-answer sent today and the daily limits for replies from rules.

Away mode

Away mode → Turn on sends your away message to people who write to you privately (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack direct messages, e-mail), once a day each. Never for a closing "ok", "thanks", 👍 or sticker, nor right after you wrote to them. With Only when a reply is needed ticked, it waits for ChatPilot's check that the message needs an answer. Edit the text and press Save.

Your rules

+ New rule, or Use one of the Examples. A rule says when and then:

When (leave a part empty for "any"):

  • Apps and Chats (people, groups, channels, e-mail senders), Labels.
  • Text contains: words, e.g. invoice|payment.
  • ChatPilot says: Urgent, Normal, Low, Bug report, Feature request, needs a reply, ★ VIP.
  • When: hours such as 19:00-08:00, or only weekends.

Then (one or more; + action):
