Labels, pins and mail filters
Group chats with your own labels, keep important ones on top, and let filters sort your mail.
Labels
A label is your own word for a group of chats: client, partner, family.
- In a chat: More → Label, then tick a label, or + New label… to make one.
- Your labels show as buttons above the inbox list, with how many chats have each. Click one to see only those chats; click it again to see all.
- A chat's labels show under its name.
Labels are only for you; nobody in the chat sees them.
Pin to the top
More → Pin to the top keeps a chat at the top of its list. Unpin in the same place.
VIP
★ under Settings → Which chats ChatPilot may read marks a person as VIP: ChatPilot alerts you when they are waiting on you, and the VIP button above the inbox shows only their chats.
Mail filters
Inbox → Filters & clean-up has your mail filters. A filter matches mail on Sender contains, Sender domain is or Subject contains and then deletes it, sends it to spam, archives it, or hides it in ChatPilot. Preview matches shows which mails in your inbox match before you save; Run now runs a saved filter on the mail already there.
The quickest way to make one is from a mail you don't want: More → Filter and pick, for example, Always archive mail from … or Always delete mail from @…. The filter page opens with it filled in.
Clean up mail
The second tab, Clean up mail, looks for noise in your mailbox: newsletters and promotions, notifications you rarely open, mail that looks like spam, and senders you keep marking done. Press Analyse my mailbox, check the groups, and clean them up. It only reads the mail headers, never the text, and everything can be undone.
