Live data in a chat

Bind a chat to a connected system and say which account it is about, for the client card, drafts, reports and auto-answer's figures.

A system you connected with only in chats I bind it to is read only in chats you bind to it, and only for the account the chat is about. That keeps one client's data out of another client's chat.

Bind a chat

  1. Open the chat (ChatPilot must be allowed to read it: Choose which chats ChatPilot may read).
  2. In the side panel, open the Live data tab. Under Live data for this chat, click + and the system's name.
  3. Type which account the chat is about, e.g. a customer number, an e-mail address or a domain. The field shows an example of what an account is in that system.
  4. Tick where ChatPilot may use it: drafts (when it writes a draft for you in this chat) and auto-answer (when it answers by itself here: it may then look up this account's own figures, each lookup checked by ChatPilot).
  5. Click Save. Unbind removes the system from the chat again.

In discussions about this chat, ChatPilot can always use a bound system.

The client card

A bound chat shows a client card on the Live data tab, with that client's figures: for an ad platform the balance, today's spend and campaigns; for a CRM the stage and deals; for a shop the orders; for a helpdesk the open tickets. Above the messages a one-line peek opens it.

  • ChatPilot reads the figures itself with the system's read tools, for this account only. Nothing on the card goes to the AI.
  • The figures are kept for 5 minutes; Refresh the client card reads them again.
  • Open in … opens the account in the system itself, when the system gives a link.

Which account? What you typed is looked up in the system. One match is taken; several are offered to pick from. Typed nothing? Find it from this chat looks up the chat's e-mail, phone, domain, company or name and lets you pick the right account, or Type it yourself. ChatPilot remembers your choice for this chat.

Figures auto-answer may use

With auto-answer ticked, the tab lists what auto-answer may look up for this account only (for example the account's figures, its balance or a campaign's status). Check the account shows which account that is.

ChatPilot fills in the account itself and refuses a lookup or an answer about anyone else. Margins and internal notes are left out, and figures are quoted with their period. If a figure can't be looked up, the reply waits for you as a draft.

Reports for the client

Under the bound system you can also set up scheduled reports for this chat: the ones the system's profile suggests (an ad platform's weekly figures, for example) and A report of your own for this chat. Each has a day, a time, a Kind of report and optional notes. They start off. ChatPilot reads only this chat's account and writes the report as a draft that waits for your Send, here and in Telegram; Write one now makes one at once. Only when you choose Send by itself for that report does it go out on its own, marked as written by ChatPilot and reported in Telegram.

Your own account instead of clients

Some systems hold your own account rather than your clients' (a shop you run, your own advertiser account). Such a system isn't bound to chats: its card is shown on Today as My account, and auto-answer never looks anything up in it. Which one a system is shows under What ChatPilot understood → Whose.
