Linear

Look up Linear issues and projects from a chat; creating an issue is an action you switch on.

Linear is a tracker for issues and projects. Connected, ChatPilot can look up issues, projects and comments while you discuss a chat, and a ticket from a chat can become a Linear issue.

Connect it

  1. Settings → Connected systems → + Add system → Linear (marked sign in).
  2. The MCP URL is filled in for you. Give it a Name and choose Read it: in every discussion with ChatPilot suits a team's own work; only in chats I bind it to keeps it to the chats you choose.
  3. Click Sign in with Linear and sign in on Linear's page in the new tab. ChatPilot gets a token, never your password, and keeps it fresh by itself.
  4. Back in the panel, ChatPilot notices the sign-in and looks at what it can do there.

Tickets

Creating an issue becomes an action. Switch it on, and it can be the place tickets from your chats go: tick default for tickets next to its File a ticket action. It still only runs when you press Run on the card.

Reading is all ChatPilot does by itself; anything that changes something there is an action you switch on first (Actions in connected systems).
