Intercom

Look up Intercom conversations, contacts and tickets next to a chat.

Intercom is a helpdesk. Connected, ChatPilot can look up conversations, contacts and tickets, and a chat bound to it shows the client's open tickets on its client card.

Connect it

  1. Settings → Connected systems → + Add system → Intercom (marked sign in).
  2. The MCP URL is filled in for you. Give it a Name and choose Read it: only in chats I bind it to (safest for client data) for client records, so each client's chat only sees its own.
  3. Click Sign in with Intercom and sign in on Intercom's page in the new tab. ChatPilot gets a token, never your password, and keeps it fresh by itself.
  4. Back in the panel, ChatPilot notices the sign-in and looks at what it can do there.

Workspaces in the EU

A workspace hosted in the EU uses another address: change the MCP URL in the form to https://mcp.eu.intercom.com/mcp before you sign in. Workspaces hosted in Australia aren't supported by Intercom.

To use it for a client's chat, bind the chat to Intercom and say which contact it is about (Live data in a chat).

Reading is all ChatPilot does by itself; anything that changes something there is an action you switch on first (Actions in connected systems).

Their documentation: Intercom's MCP server.
