Report pages

Pages of live figures from your connected systems, described in your own words, with a Telegram digest and alerts on the numbers.

A report page shows figures from your connected systems: numbers, tables, charts and lists. You say what you want to see; ChatPilot builds the page once, and from then on fills it itself from the systems' read tools. Pages and their figures stay on this computer.

You need a connected system with read tools (Connect a system) and an AI (Choose the AI).

Make a page

  1. Open Automation → Reports.
  2. Under New page, describe it, for example "My 10 best campaigns by spend this week, with CTR and CPA, and a chart of daily spend", and press Build page.
  3. You see a live preview, marked Preview — not saved yet. Change it in words ("add impressions", "only the last 7 days"), or press Edit to change the page as JSON and Preview the edit.
  4. Press Save page. Saved pages are listed under Reports.

What a page can hold:

  • numbers, with the change against the previous period;
  • tables, sorted, top N; click a heading to sort by it;
  • line or bar charts;
  • lists.

Each one comes from one read tool of a system. Filters on the page (the period, an account, an item) go into those tools. A figure no read tool gives is named as missing, never made up.

The AI only turns your words into the page. Filling it is done by ChatPilot: the AI never reads the figures, and a write tool is never called. Figures are kept a few minutes, and the number of lookups per system is capped (pages: in config.yaml).

Ready-made pages

Your systems' profiles can offer pages, such as Campaign performance, Orders today or Pipeline. They are listed under Ready-made pages: Preview builds one for that system, and you save it like your own.

Follow a page

On a saved page, the Follow this page card sends it to you in Telegram. It needs the Telegram control bot (First start).

  • A digest: pick Every day, a weekday or The 1st of the month, a time, and press Save. Send one now tries it. ChatPilot writes the figures out itself, with the page's own filters; no AI reads them.
  • Alerts on a number: under Tell me when, pick one of the page's numbers, above, at least, below or at most, a value and how often to check (every 15 minutes to once a day), then Add alert. You get one Telegram message when it becomes true, and another only after it cleared first. Alerts wait during quiet hours.

An alert needs a number on the page; for a page without one, add it in words ("add total spend").

Reports for a client, monitors

  • A scheduled report for a client, written as a draft in their chat, is set up on the chat's bound system: see Live data in a chat.
  • To be told when something happens, without a page, use a monitor: Monitors and stop-loss.
  • Your own account's figures (a media buyer's advertiser account, your shop) can also sit at the top of Today: see Live data in a chat.
