On your phone
Approve drafts and get alerts through your Telegram bot, and open the whole panel on your phone, also away from home.
There are two ways to use ChatPilot on your phone. The control bot needs nothing extra; the panel on your phone takes a few minutes to set up.
Your Telegram control bot
The bot you made in First start brings ChatPilot to your phone: alerts for urgent messages, drafts with a Send button, reminders and digests. It only answers you. Commands:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| /inbox | Chats with new messages, most urgent first; open one for โ๏ธ Draft reply |
| /digest | A summary of everything waiting |
| /summary | What you missed in busy groups |
| /background | What's worth a look in your ๐ background chats (last 24 hours) |
| /status | Connections, counts and AI usage |
| /ask | Talk to ChatPilot (or just type) |
| /bug | Report a problem with ChatPilot itself |
| /autopilot off | Auto-answer off in every chat at once (/autopilot on to resume) |
Anything else you type is a question for ChatPilot.
Digests
Settings โ Digests sets when the bot sends its summaries:
- What waits on you: the chats waiting on you and the busy groups, at one or more times a day. ๏ผ Add a time adds one (up to six), Remove takes one away.
- Background chats: once a day, what's worth a look in the busy groups you set to ๐ Background. Switch it on and pick the time under Send it at.
Nothing is sent when nothing waits. A change counts within a minute.
The panel on your phone
Settings โ On your phone puts the whole panel on your phone through Tailscale: a private network of only your own devices. Nothing is opened to the internet. The card checks each step for you:
- Install Tailscale on this computer and sign in (free for personal use).
- Install Tailscale on your phone and sign in with the same account.
- Publish ChatPilot to your devices: press Publish. The panel gets a private https address that only your devices can open.
- Scan this with your phone's camera. It opens ChatPilot, already signed in. Then add it to your home screen: on an iPhone in Safari, Share โ Add to Home Screen; on Android in Chrome, โฎ โ Install app.
The code is your key to ChatPilot: don't share it or take a screenshot of it.

On a phone the five areas are in the bar at the bottom, a chat fills the screen (Back returns to the list), and menus open as sheets from the bottom. Settings โ Display can give the phone larger text than your computer; each device keeps its own choices.
