Connected systems
Jira & Confluence (Atlassian)
Look up Jira issues and Confluence pages, with your own Atlassian permissions.
Jira & Confluence connect through Atlassian's own MCP server (Rovo). ChatPilot can look up Jira issues and Confluence pages with your own Atlassian permissions: what you can't see there, ChatPilot can't either.
Connect it
- Settings → Connected systems → + Add system → Jira & Confluence (Atlassian) (marked sign in).
- The MCP URL is filled in for you. Give it a Name and choose Read it: in every discussion with ChatPilot suits a team's own work; only in chats I bind it to keeps it to the chats you choose.
- Click Sign in with Jira & Confluence (Atlassian) and sign in on Atlassian's page in the new tab. ChatPilot gets a token, never your password, and keeps it fresh by itself.
- Back in the panel, ChatPilot notices the sign-in and looks at what it can do there.
With an API token instead
An Atlassian admin can also allow API tokens for the MCP server. Then add it under Other (any MCP server) with that token instead of signing in (Any other system (MCP)).
Reading is all ChatPilot does by itself; anything that changes something there is an action you switch on first (Actions in connected systems).
