Asana

Look up Asana tasks and projects from a chat.

Asana holds tasks and projects. Connected, ChatPilot can look them up while you discuss a chat, and adding a task can become an action.

Connect it

  1. Settings → Connected systems → + Add system → Asana (marked sign in).
  2. The MCP URL is filled in for you. Give it a Name and choose Read it: in every discussion with ChatPilot suits a team's own work; only in chats I bind it to keeps it to the chats you choose.
  3. Click Sign in with Asana and sign in on Asana's page in the new tab. ChatPilot gets a token, never your password, and keeps it fresh by itself.
  4. Back in the panel, ChatPilot notices the sign-in and looks at what it can do there.

If Asana won't register ChatPilot

ChatPilot normally registers itself with Asana. If that fails, create an app in Asana's developer console with the Redirect URL the form shows, then add Asana under Other (any MCP server) with Access: sign in (OAuth), and under More options enter its Client id and Client secret (Any other system (MCP)).

Reading is all ChatPilot does by itself; anything that changes something there is an action you switch on first (Actions in connected systems).
