Follow-ups and snooze
Put a chat away until later, get reminded when nobody answers, and let ChatPilot bring forgotten chats back by itself.
Three tools keep chats from slipping through: snooze, a follow-up reminder for one chat, and automatic follow-ups for all of them. None of them sends anything; they only bring a chat back to you.
Snooze
Snooze in a chat (key z) hides it until a time you pick: in 1 hour, in 3 hours, this evening, tomorrow morning, Monday, in a week, or a date and time. It is in the Snoozed view meanwhile, and back in your inbox when the time comes. Wake now in the chat's details brings it back early.
Remind me if they don't answer
For one chat:
- More → Follow up in a chat: Remind me if no answer in 4 h, in 1 day, in 3 days or in a week. No follow-up removes it.
- Or while writing: ⋯ → After sending, then pick the time. The reminder starts when you press Send.
If they answer in time, nothing happens. If not, the chat comes back to your inbox and your Telegram control bot reminds you.
Automatic follow-ups
Automation → Rules & auto-answer → Automatic follow-ups does it for every chat without you setting a reminder (also from ⌘K → Automatic follow-ups). After a number of days (2 by default) a chat comes back when:
- your last message got no answer, or
- a chat has needed your reply all that time. It comes back again every so many days until you mark it Done.
Each one brings the chat back to the inbox and pings you in Telegram with ✍️ Draft. It covers one-to-one chats and e-mail threads ChatPilot keeps, not groups.
Today shows whether automatic follow-ups are on, next to Waiting for your reply and No answer yet (2+ days).
Waiting on them
The Waiting on them view lists every chat where you wrote last, longest-waiting first: a quick way to see who still owes you an answer.
