Figma comments

Read the comments on your Figma files next to a client's chat: what's still open, who wrote what.

Figma comments reads the comments and replies on your Figma files, read only, through Figma's REST API. Figma's own MCP server is about turning designs into code and has no comments, so ChatPilot reads them this way.

Connect it

  1. In Figma, open Settings → Security → Personal access tokens and make a token with read access to file comments, file content and current user.
  2. In ChatPilot: Settings → Integrations → + Add system → Figma comments (marked API key).
  3. Paste it as the Personal access token, give it a Name and choose Read it.
  4. Click Connect. ChatPilot tries the token once and only then adds the system.

Use it for a design

Bind the client's chat to it and type which file the chat is about: its key, the part after /design/ in the file's link (Live data in a chat). In a discussion you can then ask "what feedback on the design is still open?" or "summarise the comments from this week". The monitors New comments and Unresolved comments and a weekly Feedback this week report are offered for it, all off until you switch them on, and 📊 Reports → Ready-made has a Design feedback page.

ChatPilot never writes in Figma.
