Google Analytics 4
For agencies, shops and site owners: your Google Analytics 4 properties and their figures next to a client's chat, read only, with a Google sign-in.
Google Analytics 4 reads your GA4 properties and their figures (sessions, users, new users, engagement rate, key events and revenue, where visitors come from, landing pages and how many people are on the site right now), read only, through Google's Analytics APIs. Google's own MCP server for Google Analytics only runs on a developer's computer, so ChatPilot reads the APIs this way.
What you need
A Google account that can open your properties in Google Analytics (the Viewer role is enough). An agency that has been given access to its clients' properties reaches all of them with one sign-in.
Connect it
- Settings → Integrations → + Add system → Google Analytics 4 (marked sign in).
- Give it a Name and choose Read it.
- Click Sign in with Google and sign in on Google's page in the tab that opens. ChatPilot asks Google only to see your Google Analytics data; it can't change anything there.
- Back in ChatPilot, the system is added once Google has let you in and ChatPilot could list your properties with it. ChatPilot never sees your password; the sign-in goes into the Keychain.
If the browser can't come back to ChatPilot (for example when ChatPilot runs on another computer), paste the address the tab ended on in the box that appears, and click Finish.
Use it for a client
Bind the client's chat to their property by its property ID (the digits under Admin → Property details, e.g. 123456789; see Live data in a chat). In a discussion you can then ask "how many visitors did my site have yesterday?" or "where does my traffic come from this month?". The monitors Traffic dropped, Key events dropped and Revenue down and a weekly report are offered for it, all off until you switch them on, and 📊 Reports → Ready-made has Google Analytics day by day, Where visitors come from and Agency: my Google Analytics properties.
Figures come from Google as Google keeps them: today's arrive a few hours late, the last two days can still change, revenue is in the property's currency and days are in its time zone. Google hides very small numbers in some reports to protect visitors' privacy.
ChatPilot never changes anything in Google Analytics. If Google stops accepting the sign-in (you removed ChatPilot's access, or changed your password), remove the system and connect it again.
