Moneybird

For businesses that invoice in Moneybird: a customer's open invoices and payments next to their chat, "Is my payment in?" answered from your books, read only.

Moneybird is online bookkeeping and invoicing. ChatPilot reads your customers (contacts), their open, late and paid invoices, who still owes what and your revenue per customer, read only, through Moneybird's REST API.

What you need

  • Your administration ID: the long number after moneybird.com/ in your browser's address bar when you have your administration open. You can paste that whole address; ChatPilot takes the number from it.
  • A personal API token: signed in to Moneybird, open moneybird.com/user/applications/new and choose a personal API token. The Sales invoices scope is enough for everything ChatPilot reads. Moneybird's tokens can also change things, but ChatPilot only ever reads with it.

Connect it

  1. Settings → Integrations → + Add system → Moneybird.
  2. Fill in the Administration ID and the Personal API token, give it a Name and choose Read it.
  3. ChatPilot lists your open invoices once to check the token and the administration, and only then adds the system. The token goes into the Keychain.

Several administrations? Add Moneybird once for each.

Use it for a customer

Bind the customer's chat to their contact in Moneybird, found by company name, name, e-mail or customer number (see Live data in a chat). The 📇 card then shows their open invoices, the newest one with what is still to pay and its due date, and their last paid invoice. In a discussion you can ask "which invoices are still open?" or "is the payment for invoice 2026-0012 in?". Where you allow it, ChatPilot can answer "Is my payment in?" from your books in that customer's chat, about that customer only.

The monitors Invoice overdue and Payment received and a monthly statement are offered for a customer, all off until you switch them on. 📊 Reports → Ready-made has Open and late invoices, Who owes what (Moneybird's age groups per customer) and Revenue per customer.

Amounts come as Moneybird keeps them, in the invoice's currency; a credit note counts as a negative amount. ChatPilot never sends, books or changes anything in Moneybird. If Moneybird stops accepting the token (you revoked it), remove the system and connect it again with a new one.
