ChatPilot
Getting started

What I use ChatPilot for

Your use mode: tell ChatPilot your role — developer, media buyer, agency, customer support, a shop, sales or personal — and it puts the matching tools first. Settings → About you.

ChatPilot asks once what you use it for: are you a developer, a media buyer, an agency, do you answer customers, run a shop, sell, or is it just for yourself? Your answer puts the matching tools first in the menu and orders the Settings cards. It only orders and hides things; nothing is switched on or off. This choice is also called your use mode.

Where to set or change it

Open Settings → About you → What I use ChatPilot for. About you is always in the list, in Simple and in Advanced; it shows your choice next to it (for example Builder / developer · Agency). The Name and language tab of About you shows it too, with Change.

Typing use, mode, developer, media buyer, agency, support, shop, profile or role in the search above the Settings list finds it, and so does ⌘K.

Developer, media buyer, agency, support, shop, sales or personal

Pick one or more:

  • Sales & CRM: follow-ups, your pipeline, the client card next to a chat, reports for clients.
  • Customer support: tickets, what you missed, auto-answer for simple questions, and the support queue.
  • Builder / developer: bug reports and requests, GitHub questions waiting on you, failed builds, the AI reading your code.
  • Agency: your clients' chats, their accounts and figures, reports you send them. Media buyers usually pick this one.
  • Shop / e-commerce: a customer's orders next to their chat, "Where's my order?" answered from your shop.
  • Personal: just the inbox: sorting, and drafts you send yourself.

Pick none to see everything. Below the choices you can still show or hide any page yourself; Back to the defaults for this choice undoes those.
