Quotes from your price list

Keep your prices on the Templates page and make a quote right from the chat: the lines are suggested from what the customer asked, the amounts come from your price list, and the quote is a draft. Trades & services.

With Trades & services chosen under What I use ChatPilot for, a customer who asks what a job costs gets a quote in a few taps: ChatPilot picks the lines from your price list, you check them, and the quote goes into the chat. Nothing is sent until you send that quote.

Your price list

Open Automation → Templates. The Price list card at the top takes one line per thing you charge for: a name and the price at the end, like

Type it, or paste it from a spreadsheet. Prices with a decimal comma (12,50) or a thousands mark (1.250,00) are fine, and a currency sign may stand before or after the price. Set the Currency once (like € or EUR): quotes show it with every amount. Press Save; the card says how many lines it read, and which lines have no price (put the price at the end of those). A line that starts with # is a note and is skipped.

Make a quote

  1. Open the customer's chat and press ⋯ More → Make a quote.
  2. Where AI is on for the chat, ChatPilot picks the lines for what the customer asked, with how many of each. The AI only chooses lines from your list and how many; it never sees or sets a price. With AI off for the chat, you pick the lines yourself.
  3. Check the lines: change a line or How many (1.5 for an hour and a half), press Add a line for more, or the cross to remove one. The total below follows.
  4. Press Write the quote. It is a draft in the chat, like:

Total: €70.00

ChatPilot works out every amount and the total from your price list. Change the words if you like, then send it. A discarded draft sends nothing.

Good to know

  • No price list yet: the menu offers Open Templates instead.
  • Only you as the owner sees the price list and makes quotes; a team member doesn't see Make a quote, since the prices are yours.
  • A chat on Only my own AI gets its suggestions from your own AI, as always; nothing of it goes to an online AI.
  • Auto-answer never sends a quote for you: it is a draft like any other.
